• Core Development: Design, develop, and maintain high-quality features for the viggoVet platform using Laravel and Vue.js.
  

• Architecture & Scalability: Lead architectural decisions to ensure the platform scales efficiently as we onboard clinics globally.
  

• AI Integration: Collaborate with our AI team to seamlessly integrate veterinary-specific AI models into the clinical workflow (e.g., smart SOAP notes, automated diagnostics assistance).
  

• Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and self-documenting code. Conduct rigorous code reviews and enforce best practices (SOLID principles, TDD).
  

• Security: Implement security measures. Ensure strict data isolation and compliance with privacy regulations.
  

• Optimization: Monitor and optimize application performance, focusing on database efficiency and frontend rendering speeds.
  

Requirements

• Experience: 5+ years of professional full-stack development experience.
  

• Backend Mastery: Deep expertise in PHP and the Laravel ecosystem (Queues, Jobs, Events, Eloquent).
  

• Frontend Expertise: Strong proficiency in Vue.js (Vue 3 preferred), Pinia, and Tailwind CSS.
  

• Database Skills: Advanced knowledge of relational databases (MySQL or PostgreSQL), including schema design, indexing, and query optimization.
  

• API Development: Proven experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL.
  

• DevOps Awareness: Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and K8s services.
  

• English Proficiency: Fluent written and spoken English is mandatory for collaboration.
  
  

• Experience with WebSockets for real-time features.

• Background in HealthTech or building Practice Management Software (PMS).

• Experience with TypeScript in a Vue environment.
