We are looking for a Senior Python Engineer with strong experience in Python, Django, and FastAPI to build scalable backend systems and high-performance APIs. The role involves designing robust architectures, writing clean and maintainable code, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable products while also contributing to team leadership and development.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable backend applications using Python, Django, and FastAPI.

• Build and optimize REST APIs and backend services.

• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices.

• Participate in system design, code reviews, and technical discussions.

• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

• Mentor junior developers and contribute to improving engineering standards.

• Lead and manage a team of engineers, ensuring effective task allocation, timely delivery, and high-quality output.

• Drive team performance through regular feedback, coaching, and technical guidance.

• Own project planning, sprint execution, and coordination with stakeholders.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Python backend development.

• Strong expertise in Django, Django ORM, Django Admin, RBAC (Django + Guardian).

• Experience with FastAPI and API development.

• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis.

• Good understanding of system design, clean code practices, and scalable architecture.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Proven experience in leading or mentoring engineering teams.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive projects end-to-end.
